Ongoing evolution of the masterplan
The masterplan by BDG Architects has been developed to the next level of function and design.
As the latest stage of Station205’s evolution, the completion of the Archers warehouse refurbishment has set the design aesthetic that will carry through to the rest of the site. Using a selection of bold accent colours against black corrugated cladding, we are differentiating various parts of the industrial campus, giving each precinct its own identity and flavour.
Watch the flythrough:
Small warehouses for start-ups
The proposed ‘starter units’ – a new row of nine refurbished warehouses, each with an average floor area of 150 sqm – will be identified by a yellow accent. Comprising factory/warehouse space as well as an office, they are the perfect size for startups or existing small businesses that want to take advantage of Station205’s premium location.
Room to grow
A core aspect of the masterplan is to provide for different scales of business, giving our tenants space to grow. For example, two of the starter units could be joined together if a business required more room; alternatively, they could relocate to a larger, self-contained space without having to change address.
The right location on site
Another important element to the design of the Station205 campus is the way the site transitions from smaller, higher visibility buildings along the road frontages to larger warehouses in the Rockfield Road precinct at the rear. Less open to the public, these more substantial footprints – up to 10,000 sqm – are ideal for businesses with large warehouses that need less visibility yet benefit from wide-access traffic circulation and a greater space for logistics.
We are proud that Station205 continues to refine and grow, and invite both existing and new tenants to grow with us.
